I was busy with work today, so had to skip the morning session.
The afternoon session was extremely interesting, for me at least. We worked on three different shi li postures, of which the most challenging was “Turtle emerging from the sea”. (I’ve probably got the translation wrong, but that’s the general idea).
All of these moves were fodussed on leg movements, and highlighted the problems I have with opening the hips and relaxing both the lower back and the ankles.
“Turtle emerging from the sea” is also in Mantak Chia’s books, and I need to compare the descriptions in Master Yao’s books with those in Master Chia’s books.
