Acupuncture in Mozambique

It’s interesting to read that Mozambique is to introduce acupuncture in its public hospitals. I would be interested to learn more about who will be delivering it, and where they will be trained.

It’s a good move: acupuncture is an appropriate treatment for a developing country which can’t afford a Western-style health service. Of course, the way things are going, the UK’s NHS will soon be broke and this appropriate-tech level of treatment will be much more in demand in the UK as well. I suspect there’s going to be a booming market for TCM practitioners in Britain before too long…
